Presentation / Rationale / Aims
The SISEF Geo-Archives is an initiative of the Italian Society of Silviculture and Forest Ecology (SISEF) aimed to collect, organize, map, and share relevant scientific information and georeferenced metadata on different aspects of the Italian forests and plantations. All the metadata included in the repositories are collected and managed by the SISEF Workgroups on a voluntary basis, and are freely available to the whole scientific community and anyone interested in sharing/exchanging scientific data on the Italian forests.
